Suggestions for controlling the frequency and duration of use of the cow body itching brush

Usage frequency

● Conventional feeding environment: In a generally clean and less parasitic environment, it is advisable to ensure that cows use itching brushes 3-5 times a day.cattle body scratching brush

Special circumstances: If the cow is in a high incidence season for parasites (such as summer) or if there is an increase in parasites on the cow's body, the frequency of using the itching brush can be appropriately increased, such as 6-8 times a day, to help the cow better alleviate the itching caused by parasites. If the breeding environment is dusty or the cattle have just returned from muddy fields, the frequency of use should also be increased so that the cattle can clean their bodies in a timely manner.

Single use duration

● Natural state: In the natural state, each cow uses an itch brush for about 5-10 minutes. During this period, allow cows to fully rub different parts of their body, effectively removing foreign objects from the surface and relieving itching.

● Observation and adjustment: Farmers can observe the behavior of cows when they itch. If the cow leaves the itch brush within about 5 minutes and shows a satisfactory state, it indicates that it has met the need for itching. But if the cow rubs on the itchy brush for more than 10 minutes without showing any signs of stopping, it may be necessary to check the cow's skin for parasites or other abnormalities.

It should be noted that these are only rough reference standards, and the actual frequency and duration of use need to be determined based on factors such as the specific breed, health status, and breeding environment of the cattle.
